Local Chicago Registered choir participants please save the Local Rehearsal schedule dates for the Friday, July 12th Live DVD & Album Recording at St. John AME Church Aurora. All local choir participants are encouraged to attend ALL rehearsals but required to attend 4 rehearsals to sing the closing concert.

MCAM 2012 Fall Executive Board Meeting

The Music and Christian Arts Ministry Annual Fall Executive Board Meeting will convene November 8-10, 2012 at St. Philip AME Church, 240 Candler Road in Atlanta, GA. The executive board will be discussing the many upcoming activities of MCAM including our participation with the Annual Ministries in Christian Education Meeting being held April 18-20, 2013 and our biennial International Music and Christian Arts Conference being held in July of 2013 in Chicago, IL Also on the agenda are many new and exciting initiatives for the Music and Christian Arts Ministry. The executive board will conclude with a concert on Friday night featuring AME artists in keeping with one of our goals which is to promote AME artists we will present our Fall Workshop Series on Saturday, November 9th. The MCAM Fall Executive Board Meeting will convene November 8-10 at St. Philip AME Church, Atlanta, GA. The Executive Board Meeting will feature “High Praise” concert on Friday, Nov. 9th at 7:30 PM presented in partnership with the Connectional Lay Organization. The Board Meeting will culminate with the MCAM Fall Workshop Series on Saturday, November 10th from 9:30AM until 2:00PM featuring the artistic leadership of MCAM with special guest national recording artist Minister Lamar Campbell.
